Rare first and only edition of this interesting historical study dedicated to medical institutions in Normandy, based on the official documents of the College of Physicians of Rouen (1669-1792). The frontispiece is adorned with the woodcut bearing the ancient seal of the Medical Society (1605), depicting Christ with arms outstretched between the city’s coat of arms.
