Pair of San Pietro and San Paolo of Portugal – 20th Century

Elegant and rare pair of busts depicting *Saint Peter and Saint Paul*, *petrified marmorin stone*, a smooth and compact material, *not plaster nor scagliola* – therefore *ideal also for outdoor display*.

Both busts are mounted on fine bases in *marble in excellent condition*. The sculptures show *defined features and attention to detail*, a work of skilled hands, probably *an Italian sculptor active in the mid-20th century* (*approximate period: 1940s–1960s*).
