THREE POETS FOR A CITY – Art book with an original aquaforte by Mario Bellagamba

First edition of this particular art publication produced in Ancona in 1976 by Libreria Editrice Fagnani, on the occasion of the inauguration of the new bookstore.

"Three Poets for a City" gathers, on 16 pages of sheets, the poetic texts by Duilio Scandali, Francesco Mario Chirico, and Franco Scataglini, accompanied by an original aquaforte by Mario Bellagamba, signed and numbered, presented outside the text and protected by delicate tissue. The editorial folder is illustrated with a drawing by Bellagamba himself.

The edition was produced in only 100 copies, printed on fine Rosaspina paper from the Cartiere Miliani in Fabriano. The copy offered here is no. **62/100**.

The folder measures about 25.5 × 36 cm, while the aquaforte is printed on a sheet of about 24.5 × 35 cm, with an image of about 15.5 × 11 cm.

The copy shows excellent condition of the print, the aquaforte, and the interior loose sheets. The original editorial container in cardboard shows some signs of age as documented in the images.

A publication of particular interest for the relationship between poetry, original engraving, and art publishing, as well as for its testimony to the lively cultural production of the Marche region in the 1970s.

The work will be packed with special care and with protective materials appropriate to the nature of an art book and graphic work.
