“Show Me What You Can” is a painting important to me because it marks a stronger and more deliberate direction within the Red Veil series. Through this series, I am exploring the body as a form of presence, authority, and self-possession.

About the artist:
Iacob Mircea holds both a BA and an MA in Painting, and is currently in the final year of his PhD in Painting, all completed with merit scholarships. His artistic path reflects a wide professional range, from having his studio at the Palace of Culture in Ploiești to engaging in international projects in New York, including a partnership with Ralph Lauren.
He has presented numerous solo exhibitions in Romania and abroad, participating both independently and as part of the academic group of the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
