Dimensions of the painting alone: 39 x 35 cm

The rectangular canvas shows several modifications compared to the original, foremost among them the absence of the veil that the Virgin Mary delicately lifts to uncover and contemplate Jesus.
Also different is the size of the rectangular canvas, which is 39x35 cm, while the original painting is 93x73.5 cm. (located in Rome at the Corsini Gallery.)
