Peter van den Braken (1896-1979) - Boerderij

This painting is a typical work by the well-known North Brabant painter Peter van den Braken (1896–1979), titled Brabantse boerderij or Boerderijen in Brabant. It depicts a characteristic long-gabled farmhouse with a high thatched roof, painted in his recognisable expressionist style with a very thick and paste-like layer of paint.
