Description from the seller
Very rare and perfect bottle
Domaine Bernard-Bonin is a producer located on the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, in the commune of Meursault. The estate is renowned for its fresh, complex wines, expressively terroir-driven and rich in minerals, made exclusively from old-vine Chardonnay using organic and biodynamic methods. Minimalist winemaking approaches reinforce the natural vineyard ethos, yielding wines that express a distinct sense of belonging.
Since 1998, it has been led by a married couple of winemakers, Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin. The house cultivates nine hectares of vineyards acquired from family properties. The youngest vines on the estate date from 1972, with an average plant age of 60 years. The estate has been certified organic since 2015, and the majority of its ranges are certified biodynamic by the international Demeter organization, with additional plots slated to achieve this status in 2026.
Most of Bernard-Bonin’s vineyards are located in Meursault, with other sites in nearby Puligny-Montrachet. The ranges cover the Burgundy, Village, and Premier Cru categories, including parcels in the acclaimed appellations Les Genevrières, Les Folatières, and La Garenne. The village-level wines are produced from parcels such as Les Tillets and Le Limozin, situated in or adjacent to premier-tier vineyards.
The refined and vibrant character of Domaine Bernard-Bonin’s wines and its limited production make its portfolio highly regarded and eagerly sought after by wine lovers and collectors around the world.
