Tibetan thangka - Linen, Leather - Tibet - 20th century

Original twentieth-century Tibetan thangka, large in size, hand-painted on fabric and characterized by a rich composition of subjects and symbols of Tibetan Buddhist tradition. In the center is depicted an elaborate mandala, surrounded by numerous sacred figures, masters and deities, set in a symbolic landscape with refined colors of green, blue, red, and ochre.

Particularly evocative is the original textile frame, in silk decorated with floral motifs, which completes and enhances the work, giving it a scenographic and authentically Eastern appearance. The evident marks of time, the folds and the patina of the fabric testify to its antiquity and use, contributing to the charm of the whole.

A rare and imposing artifact of Tibetan religious art, ideal for collectors, enthusiasts of Asian art, and for interiors with a strong visual impact. The exceptional dimensions make it a particularly scenographic piece and difficult to find.
