Secret compartment: An oval, functional box with a side hinge and snap closure, historically intended to protect sacred writings.
High-quality metalwork: Upper and side decoration executed with the complex traditional pierced filigree technique (shabaka) and centered cord borders.
Excellent lapis lazuli: Features a dense mosaic of exactly 15 lapis lazuli cabochons of superior quality.
The gems present an intense ultramarine blue, homogeneous with subtle flashes of natural pyrite, with no losses or restorations.
