Le Yack (1972) signed, L'Horizon d'Ulysse - Porsche 356 Speedster - Hand signed, a 40 × 40 cm giclée on canvas, edition limited to 20 signed copies, produced in France in 2020 or later, in excellent condition, with certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Above a calanque, on a path of white sand, a silver roadster from the fifties stopped in the shade of a pine tree. She got out barefoot and leans against the bodywork, white blouse tied at the waist, a red ribbon in her hair. She simply looks at the sea.
Since Homer, the Mediterranean has been the sea of departures and returns. Ulysses took ten years to return home, and every traveler who stops facing this blue asks himself whether he has arrived or if he must leave again. French cinema also filmed Le Mépris facing the big blue, with a convertible, a woman and the Odyssey in the background. Le Yack revisits this myth and reduces it to a single gesture: a stop, the engine off, and the horizon as the only destination.
Pine forest, calcareous rock, chrome that shines in the sun, blue shadows on the sand: all the light of the Var is contained in this canvas, which brings summer and escape into a room.
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours.
