Cor Schaap (1968) - Strandgezicht bij Oude Kerk

Cor Schaap grew up in a fishing family and has carried the sea with him since childhood. The coast forms not only his background but also an inexhaustible source of inspiration. In his (post)impressionist paintings he captures the atmosphere, light, and movement of the coastal landscape in his own, recognizable style. His work radiates calm, space, and cheerfulness.

Cor Schaap's paintings are included in the collection of Galerie Gabriëls in The Hague, a renowned gallery that has represented professional artists since 1974.

This is a nice sunny and atmospheric beach scene, by the Oude Kerk in Katwijk. It is painted on high-quality 3D linen canvas and is therefore very beautiful on the wall without a frame.
