Description from the seller

Antique/Vintage wall mirror – Made in Belgium – Baroque/Rococo style – Faceted edge

Luxurious, decorative wall mirror from Belgium with a richly ornamented frame in the Baroque/Rococo or Louis XV style.

The elaborately designed, partially pierced frame features flowing acanthus leaves, floral elements, shell motifs, and volutes. The multicolored finish in antique gold, green, and subdued beige/bronze tones gives the mirror a particularly elegant, antiqued look. The existing patina underlines its characteristic vintage charm.

The rectangular mirror glass with a surrounding facet edge appears especially high quality. The beveled mirror edges catch the light beautifully and, together with the multi-profiled and finely ornamented inner frame, form a graceful finish.

The back is fitted with a sturdy wooden board and features a wire hanging system. The original label bears the designation:

REF. N° 2600-122
MADE IN BELGIUM

The label also notes that the brand and model are protected/trademarked.

The mirror probably dates from the mid to late 20th century. A definite attribution to a specific manufacturer cannot be made from the available markings beyond doubt.

Origin: Belgium
Reference number: 2600-122
Style: Baroque / Rococo / Louis XV Revival
Material: mirrored glass with facet cut, decoratively framed relief frame, rear wooden board
Colors: antique gold, green, beige/bronze
Hanging: rear wire hanging system
Condition: good age-appropriate vintage condition with visible patina and signs of use due to age. These are part of the authentic character and clearly visible in the photos.

An exceptionally decorative and prestigious mirror, which, due to its size, the plastically worked ornaments, the multicolored finish, and the faceted mirror glass, makes a striking focal point.
