Description from the seller
NO RESERVE
This lot consists of two bottles of Bordeaux red wine from the 1979 vintage, preserved in green-tinted glass bottles. The first bottle is a 1979 Château d'Issan, a Third Growth (classé in 1855) from the Margaux-controlled appellation, managed by Emmanuel Cruse. Its original gold-colored label shows signs of aging, while its liquid level sits at the bottom of the neck, which is perfectly acceptable for a bottle of this age. The second bottle is a 1979 Clos René, a wine from the Pomerol-controlled appellation produced by Pierre Lasserre, owner in Pomerol. Its illustrated white label also bears traces of time, featuring a red capsule on top and a liquid level reaching the base of the neck. The complete lot has a height of 30.5 cm and a total weight of 1,250 grams. Both bottles retain their original intact and sealed capsules, and the labels remain perfectly legible despite natural surface wear and a thin layer of slightly greasy cellar dust evenly deposited on the glass after long storage.
