Oil panel painting depicting a knight in 18th-century attire at a pause in front of an inn with another figure. Genre scene. Attributed to Alfonso Hoellander as indicated by the metal plaque affixed to the lower frame. On the back are inscriptions and traces of labels from collections/exhibitions. Dimensions 22 x 35, with frame 28 x 40. Provenance from the antique market. "The frame visible in the photo is included as a courtesy and does not form an integral part of the work.
