View of Montmartre with the Galette mill, café, crowd and horse-drawn carriage on a wet street, with reflections on the pavement. Signed bottom left: the signature reads “V.B.” followed by a surname not fully decipherable. No definite attribution.
Technique: oil, quick blotchy brushwork, decorative in character. Ornate gold wooden frame with red mat. Approximate period: 1950–1980.
Measurements taken with a tape measure in the photos (approximate): with frame about 80 × 62 cm (width × height). The canvas alone is smaller, due to the molding and the red edge.

Painting overall intact, without evident tears.
