Vintage photo frame from the 1970s/1980s, made of brass with a golden finish, circular design, external dimensions 32 cm by 27 cm and 9 cm deep (internal 20 by 20 cm), weighing 1250 g, in good used condition with minor signs of age and spots of oxidation, originating from Tuscany, Italy and produced by Spark of Florence.
Description from the seller
Vintage photo frame from the 1970s-1980s, manufactured by Spark of Florence (see photo).
In Florence at that time several artisanal workshops were active, producing home accessories, frames, desk items, etc., in gold-toned metal, or in bronze or silver, and the label on the back certifies the craftsmanship and provenance.
The frame has a circular silhouette and the upper edge is decorated with a shaped leaf and with the flower of a calla lily, probably in ivory-color resin (avoriolina) and with the inner pistil in brass.
This frame is very representative of the taste and the kind of objects that were fashionable in those years.
It is in good condition. It shows neither cracks nor dents.
The metal has a natural patina and shows small spots of natural oxidation in several places (see photo), due to time, which however do not take away from the beauty and the peculiarity of the object.
