AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Wall mirror in golden bronze, Rococo style, with two removable candle arms - 98 × 66 cm.

Oval wall mirror, with a richly worked golden bronze frame in Rococo style. The decoration combines curves and counter-curves, volutes, foliage and floral motifs, forming a composition with strong ornamental presence.

The upper pediment features a floral branch above a composition of flowers and a ribbon with hanging streamers, decorated with engraved motifs. At the bottom, the frame ends in a projecting cartouche, framed by volutes and vegetal elements.

On the lower sides there are two removable candelabrum arms, each with two lights, a total of four candle holders. These elements follow the decorative language of the frame, with curved stems, foliage and cups ornamented with wax-catching dishes. They show signs of later electrification, including traces of wiring.

The gilding retains patina and visible wear in different zones. The reverse side shows an old coating with losses, perforations and signs of use, as well as a suspension ring.

A decorative piece with a strong presence, suitable for an entry, living room, or classical-inspired space.
