A wooden panel from the 20th century, 109 cm wide, 40 cm high and 3 cm deep, weighing 5 kg, with a hand-carved, richly decorated frame and a three-panel interior featuring a central narrative scene and two ornate floral sections.
Description from the seller
A rectangular panel, conceived as a triptych, with a deep and imposing hand-carved wooden frame. The frame is richly decorated with a continuous relief of floral motifs and polychrome foliage, painted in vivid shades of green, blue, red and yellow on a natural wood base.
The internal work is composed of three vertical sections. The two outer sections, wider, present a complex abstract and floral decoration that extends symmetrically. The dominant colors are a deep cerulean blue and an emerald green, enriched by touches of sun yellow and crimson red. At the center of each of these two panels there is a large stylized flower, which serves as a focal point with yellow petals and a red center. Scroll motifs and foliage intertwine around this central flower, creating a lush and organic effect.
The central section, narrower, is framed internally by an arch and depicts a detailed narrative scene, reminiscent of a garden or a Mediterranean market. Within it there are distinguishable small human figures, potted trees, flowering plants and stalls, all painted with great care and warm colors, such as ochre, terracotta and olive green, framed by a stylized arch.
