Description from the seller
Terraces Of Still Water
Rizéries en terrasses de Hoshitōge — Niigata Prefecture, Japan
This work is inspired by the terraced rice fields of Hoshitōge, whose curves have traced the mountain landscape for generations. The pools filled with perfectly still water reflect the sky and the surrounding hills, while a few discreet silhouettes recall the deep bond between humans and this landscape shaped by time.
The balance between the organic lines of the terraces, the reflections, and the softness of the reliefs creates a scene imbued with serenity and harmony. Black and white reveals the richness of textures and the poetry of the landscape, offering a contemplative vision of rural Japan where the rhythm of the seasons remains omnipresent.
Series — Tokyo to Kagoshima, 1983
This series imagines the forgotten photographic notebook of a journey across Japan, from Tokyo to Kagoshima. Inspired by Japanese silver-gelatin photography and the contemplative cinema of the 1970s–1980s, the works explore an atmosphere made of rain, mist, silence, and solitude.
Each composition is developed from a real photograph serving as a working base. Artificial intelligence is used as an artistic reinterpretation tool to rework the composition, textures, light, and visual balance of the image, while preserving the authentic atmosphere of the places depicted.
Printed in high definition on premium professional photo paper, the work restores deep blacks, a subtle cinematic grain, and a minimalist aesthetic designed for a contemporary wall presentation.

ONIINK STUDIO is a contemporary visual gallery exploring image through three axes: photography, automobiles, and contemporary art.
At the crossroads of cinema and urban aesthetics, each work captures a suspended moment, where light, matter, and composition convey a silent tension.
Whether it is nocturnal automotive scenes, cinematic portraits, or more abstract artistic compositions, the work centers on one same pursuit: to reveal a presence, an atmosphere, a feeling.
Inspired by the codes of cinema and urban environments, ONIINK STUDIO develops a coherent visual identity, marked by contrast, precision, and a restraint of emotion.
