Tony Bornard represents the new generation of the Bornard family in Pupillin, one of the emblematic villages of the Jura. The domaine works organically and follows a low-intervention approach in the cellar, seeking transparent expressions of the traditional Jura grape varieties.

Les Chassagnes is produced from Savagnin, with specialist references describing the cuvée as an ouillé (topped-up), non-oxidative Savagnin. This method preserves freshness and purity while highlighting the mineral and saline character of the variety.

The 2020 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts and matured with regular topping-up, resulting in an energetic style combining minerality, freshness and subtle honeyed notes.

The 2023 vintage continues the same distinctive expression of Savagnin: vibrant and mineral, with freshness, tension and a pronounced saline character.

This two-bottle vertical offers an interesting opportunity to compare two vintages separated by three years from the same vineyard and cuvée.

Both bottles are in very good condition, with good fill levels, clean labels and intact red wax closures. Please refer to the photographs for the exact condition.
