Chess set - handgemaakt Houten schaakspel en backgammon - Wood

This lot consists of a specially handmade game box made of very beautiful sheesham wood. The box contains 2 popular games:
- Backgammon
- Chess

The game box is lined on the bottom and inside with green felt. It is made of thick polished hardwood (Sheesham).
The board is inlaid on two sides with different sheesham (hard) wood types. Very nicely finished with a beautiful wood species.

The box has 6 compartments inside. The game box is of very high quality with lovely rounded corners.

The chess pieces are handmade, presumably Staunton, and are felted on the underside. The king measures 6 cm.

The backgammon pieces are made of wood. There are 32 pieces and 5 dice.
There are two neat shaker cups included, which fit perfectly in the box.

The box measures 32.5x32.5 cm.
