NO RESERVE - A PAIR OF ANTIQUE CHINESE GILT IMARI TEAPOTS W/ THEIR LIDS, KANGXI.
Of melon shape or footed with strap handle, here are nice & original Chinese blue and white with gilt and enamels teapots presenting hand-painted flower compositions on both sides.
A natural shape & a strap handle teapots from the Kangxi / 18th c. with nicely executed handpainted designs, bright enamels & rich cobalt blue tones.
A pair of interesting shapes of teapots for 2 decorative antique objects from the Kangxi period.
Information
Art / country: Asian Art, China.
Type: Underglaze blue with enamel & gilt teapots.
Period: Kangxi period (1662-1722).
Dimensions:
Heights: 13.2 & 12.4 cm.
Widths: 19 & 15.3 cm.
Weights: 0.43 + 0.34 Kg.
Materials: underglaze blue with enamels & gilt porcelain.
Provenance: Private collection, South of France.
Condition: After very careful checks under natural & UV light.
The lid and the spout of the largest teapot are repaired. The smallest teapot with a hairline around its foot rim. Some micro chips, light wears, small glaze & gilt losses, minor kiln flaws, all commensurate with age & period (please check all visuals).
