Adri Q is a young Afro-Cuban artist born in Cuba who currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain, and who lives and works in El Campello, Alicante, whose painting arises from the encounter between illustration, geometry and a deeply contemporary sensibility. Through acrylic on canvas, she has developed a recognizable visual language, characterized by the use of intense colors, flat surfaces, geometric structures and a rich succession of graphic patterns that turn each composition into a dynamic and easily identifiable universe.

Her work moves freely between figuration and abstraction. At times it begins from recognizable scenes — musicians, women, dancers, Mediterranean landscapes, animals or characters belonging to the collective imaginary — only to fragment them and rebuild them through chromatic blocks, visual rhythms and decorative elements. In other pieces, geometry takes on a greater protagonism and the figure seems to arise from the color structure itself.
