Chalice - Glass

Beautiful 19th-century Bohemian goblet in deep red glass, richly decorated with finely engraved floral motifs and the inscription “Alida Legrand”. Through the personal name inscription it is likely a special-occasion or wedding goblet.

The red goblet contrasts beautifully with the bright, gracefully formed glass stem and foot. The engraved decoration around gives it an elegant and distinctive appearance.

The goblet is about 24 cm tall and, considering its age, in good condition, with only normal use and aging traces.
