Alphonse Sauvage (XIX) - Romantisch zomerlandschap

Alphonse Sauvage

Beautiful large romantic painting with the original 19th-century fluted frame

Belgian painter of the nineteenth century.
Primarily paints landscapes, with or without animals, and forest scenes.
His oeuvre thematically aligns with the Belgian romantic-realist landscape painting of the 19th century, in which forests, rural areas and pristine nature were beloved subjects

The painting is sold without a frame due to the fragility, weight and size of the frame.
The frame can be picked up for free.
