Description from the seller
A Neapolitan mechanical engineer, Enzo Naso began painting in 1977. His great passion for cars soon led him to work with Ferrari, starting his collaboration with the Maranello company in 1987.
To his credit, his works – watercolors, posters and calendars – dedicated to the Ferrari Challenge, Historic Challenge and Formula 1 have been produced.
In graphic work, among other collaborations with Ferrari it is certainly worth recalling the logo created for Ferrari's 50th anniversary.
Most of his paintings are oil on canvas, the technique that most allows him to continue researching subtle transparency effects and lightness of colors.
In August 2000 he was invited by Michigan University to exhibit at Meadow Brook Hall Art Concours, where he was awarded the Strother McMinn Art Award as the artist who best interpreted the automobile as an object of art.
On the occasion of the Athens Olympic Games he was invited by Swatch to take part in the Kaleidoscope exhibition. Since 2001 he has been Ferrari’s licensee for the creation of Paintings, lithographs and limited edition reproductions for collectors and companies around the world. This lithograph is personally signed by him and depicts Michael Schumacher’s victory.
