Louis Vuitton Sellier Dragonne in Epi leather, 1990s.

This is a brown Epi leather clutch bag from Louis Vuitton.

Featuring the brand's distinctive Epi grain, a flap closure with a gold-tone lock, and a wrist strap fastened with a stamped stud, this envelope-style clutch has a compact, refined profile. Unlike many pieces of this style, which tend to develop blackened staining inside the pockets with age, the interior pockets of this example show no such darkening, as seen in the photographs.

Observed condition details:
- Exterior: Edge wear and light-coloured abrasion along the corners and edges of the flap and body, with some edge paint cracking at the flap point. Scuff marks on the lower front, and a darkened area near the lower part of the back panel. Epi grain shows light surface wear.
- Interior: Leather-lined interior with a zippered compartment and open pockets. The interior pockets show no blackened staining. Minor creasing and light marks are visible in the photographs.
- Hardware: Gold-tone lock, zipper and stud show dullness, light scratches and tarnish.
- Handles / Straps: Wrist strap with edge wear, colour variation and rubbing around the stud and fastening tabs.
- Stitching: Stitching appears intact in the photographs.
- Odour: Not assessed from photographs.
