THE ESTATE
The Droin estate is one of the great family signatures of Chablis, seated on the same land for several centuries. Jean-Paul and then Benoît Droin have forged a widely recognized style: precise, taut Chablis with real mineral depth, and oak-aging in barrels that adds texture without masking the terroir. Critics (Bettane+Desseauve, RVF, Burghound) regularly place it among the safe bets of the appellation.

THE WINE
Vaillons is one of the most renowned Premier Cru vineyards on the left bank of the Serein. Its Kimmeridgian limestone soils give it an elegant, taut, and saline character.

A vintage of freshness, marked by spring frost and small yields. It produced bright, lively, and very digestible whites, more classic than solar. Ready to drink now, with a potential to age 8 to 10 years.
