Sachsa / Glashütter Tradition
The Sachsa brand is the official successor to the tradition-rich brand “Glashütter Tradition” and consistently continues its watchmaking heritage. It stands in a direct line to Glashütter Tradition, preserving its craft values, precision, and quality standards.
The name “Glashütter Tradition” was revived in 1998 by D. Dornblüth with the registration “Glashütter Tradition Dornblüth” at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. In 2009 the brand was continued through an acquisition and specifically oriented toward the production of individual pieces and small series. This focus underscored the high standard of exclusivity, artisanal quality, and individuality.
Despite the high recognition for its mechanical watches, production was discontinued at a later date. As the official successor brand, Sachsa continues this tradition and carries it forward under contemporary considerations. The Flugwacht 01 model comes from older stock and has been completely overhauled.
