Description from the seller
The Hour Before Leaving
I stand in the open doorway where inside dissolves into sky, clouds drifting behind me as though the world forgot its walls. My black dress absorbs the light; my boots root me to a floor that burns red beneath my feet. Beside me, my cat watches with pale, startled eyes, keeping vigil I cannot name. Above, a clock marks a moment I refuse to read. The brushwork is smooth, luminous, each edge precise yet tender, colours bold and strange. I am waiting, though I no longer remember for what.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist working across dream, disruption, and wit - never settling into one mood or one way of seeing. Some paintings are quiet and symbolic, others catch a moment coming apart mid-motion, others turn a playful, knowing eye on art history itself. What unites the work isn't a single style but a single instinct: reality treated as something soft enough to bend, fracture, or reimagine - rendered always in smooth, luminous brushwork and bold, contrasting color. Every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
