Evaluation of René Gabriel:

100% Shiraz. Extremely dark in the center, with almost black reflections, noticeable purple tint at the rim. Warm, expansive bouquet, pleasantly emanating, lots of plums and cassis; the sweetness alternates after a few minutes with a dark spice, a milky undertone that gives it nasal fullness. On the palate creamy, dancing between red- and blue-berry nuances, great fullness and soft, yet fat tannins on display. A mouthful of Grange with a finish of kitchen herbs, pruning plums, cinnamon, and black currant. Rare has a Grange been so Burgundian! And rare has a Grange been so unrestrainedly ready from the first moment! 19/20 points.

100 % Shiraz. Extrem dunkel in der Mitte, mit fast schwarzen Reflexen, deutliche lila Verfärbung am Rand. Warmes, ausladendes Bouquet, wohlig ausströmend, viel Pflaumen und Cassis, die Süsse wechselt sich nach ein par Minuten mit einer dunklen Würze ab, milchiger Ansatz, was ihm eine nasale Fülle verleiht. Im Gaumen cremig, zwischen rot- und blaubeerigen Nuancen tanzend, eine tolle Fülle und weiche, aber fette Tannine zeigend. Ein Mund voll Grange mit einem Finale von Küchenkräutern, Backpflaumen Zimt und Black Currant. Selten war ein Grange so burgundisch! Und selten war ein Grange vom ersten Moment an so hemmungslos ready! 19/20 Punkte.
