AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

JOSEPH BEUYS

Very rare glass object!!
In connection with his project in Tuscany with the title
Difesa della natura (1981/83)

at the time, with an edition of 100 copies a poster, a postcard and a carton with 6 bottles Montepulciano D'Ambruzzo wine, all hand signed by Joseph Beuys, were sold as a lot!
These lots are meanwhile offered for a middle five-figure amount when complete!

The objects from this lot are therefore in the meantime offered individually at very high prices, with the wine bottles, which 6 x 100, i.e. 600 pieces in this lot composed, appearing the least in the public eye!

Here we offer one of these bottles,

IT IS EMPTY THOUGH (it wasn’t me!),

produced by Azienda Agricola Barone Giuseppe Durini di Bolognano - Pescara (Italy), in a transparent, unlabeled acrylic wine cooler (not part of this lot, but added for protection and more decorative presentation of the wine bottle),

with the title

F.I.U.
DIFESA TELLA NATURA
VINO MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO

hand-signed by Joseph Beuys on the label

- signed

Bottle size:
28.2 cm x 7.0 cm

Condition:
Bottle is empty!

The signed label on the bottle is lightly soiled and the edges slightly damaged; otherwise the object is in very good condition
