State: Excellent black-and-white impression, good condition with slight traces of foxing and browning;

Provenance: Provenance from private collection;
Artist (Designer): Francis Barlow, considered one of the earliest and most important British naturalist painters and illustrators, best known for his realistic depictions of birds and wild or domestic animals.
Engraver: Jan Griffier I (c.1652–1718), indicated in the center by the inscription "I. Griffier fecit." (he made/engraved).
Publisher: As indicated by the inscription at the lower right ("P. Tempest ex."), the print was published by Pierce Tempest (1653–1717), a well-known print publisher active in London at the end of the seventeenth century.
