The mixed-media background is a combination of prints from magazines and posters and pieces ripped out of magazines covered with layers of transparent spray paint and acrylic brush strokes. Alvin’s art is created mostly with spray paint and acrylic paints and he often combines sexy girls and humor with the cartoon heroes of his youth. Recently he picked up his old skills as a toy customizer and merged them with his art to create unique art objects. Photographs do not fully capture the life of his work.
