Origin:
From a collector

A guarantee of accuracy, consistent timekeeping, and water resistance cannot be provided.
Notes:
Technically, the watch has been tested and functions perfectly. All photos are unedited and taken with a macro lens to present the actual condition as honestly and in as much detail as possible. The pictures are part of the description.
Description:
Characteristic Tissot Seastar Quartz from the 1970s and an interesting example from the early Swiss quartz era. The dial shows a pronounced color shift and appears, depending on the light, deep dark blue to almost black. Applied baton hour markers, a date window at 3 o’clock, and the distinctive cushion-shaped stainless steel case give the typical 1970s look.
Of particular interest is the early Tissot quartz caliber 2030 with its unusual setting system: the hour hand as well as the minute/second hands are adjusted in different ways via the crown. Caliber 2030 belongs to the early Tissot-in-house quartz movements and was produced only for a short period.
A technically and visually exciting vintage Tissot Seastar with an intense Blue-to-Black Dial and true Early
