Description:
Characteristic Pontiac Support-Choc hand-wound watch from the Art Deco era, probably from the 1940s.
The distinctive tonneau case combines a cream-colored dial with Arabic numerals, classic railway minute track, dark blue tempered hands, and a separate small seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The historic labels “Support-Choc” and “Anti-Magn.” on the dial refer to the technical properties of this early Pontiac generation.
With its compact dimensions of about 25 mm without crown and about 35 mm lug-to-lug, the watch has the elegant proportions typical of its era.
