Description from the seller

I purchased this fine sarong in West Timor in the 1980s for my collection. It consists of two identical parts. The Rimanu motif at the two ends depicts human figures with raised hands, along with narrow horizontal bands with square motifs. This motif is typical of the Oirata people on Kisar. comparable sarong see: Ikat.us :Pusaka Collection No. 103
