Vintage necklace from the 1970s attributed to Chanel and Archimede Seguso (Murano), featuring blown and hand-modelled glass elements in two pink tones, 47 cm long with glass beads and gold-toned metal findings in good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Elegant and rare vintage 1970s necklace made by Archimede Seguso to a Chanel design.
The design reproduces the famous molded glass chain motif, typical of Seguso glassworks for Chanel between the late 1960s and the 1970s. The necklace is made of blown and molded glass elements in a refined two-tone pink (soft pink and a deeper pink), interspersed with small glass pearls and dark spacers that enhance its structure.
The overall effect is luminous, feminine, and highly recognizable, expressing the perfect fusion of French haute couture and Venetian glassmaking tradition.
Features:
• Maison: Chanel (attributed)
• Designer / Manufacture: Archimede Seguso, Murano (attributed)
• Period: circa the 1970s
• Origin: Venice, Italy
