Description from the seller

Keith Haring after (1958-1990), Untitled (Subway Drawing) 13, copyright Keith Haring Foundation, licensed by Artestar New York, printed in the UK 17/49

Elevate your space with this striking art print featuring Keith Haring’s Untitled (Subway Drawing) 13, capturing the bold, energetic visual language that made his Subway Drawings an important part of New York’s street art history.

In the early 1980s, Haring began creating his now famous Subway Drawings on the empty black advertising panels of New York City subway stations. Using white chalk, he transformed these unused spaces into spontaneous public artworks, drawing quickly and directly in response to the energy of the city. His simple lines, dancing figures, radiant babies and expressive symbols became instantly recognisable, turning the subway into an open gallery and bringing contemporary art directly into everyday urban life. The Subway Drawings also helped establish Haring as one of the most influential artists of the New York street art and Pop Art scene.

Printed in the UK on luxurious 300gsm Monte Carlo fine art watercolour paper, crafted by St Cuthbert’s Mill, a historic paper mill with over 300 years of papermaking tradition.

The art print is preserved in very good condition and has never been framed. It will be carefully packaged for safe delivery.
