Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Three consecutive Pilote magazine collections, numbers 3 to 5, EO edition published by Dargaud in 1962, featuring Uderzo, Goscinny and other artists, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Very nice set of 3 consecutive compilations of Pilote magazine: albums No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5, among the very first compilations of the famous review created in 1959.
The three volumes bring together the original fascicles of Pilote and represent a particularly important period in the early years of the magazine.
You will find many series that became emblematic of Franco-Belgian comics, notably:
Astérix le Gaulois – Goscinny & Uderzo
Michel Tanguy – Charlier & Uderzo
as well as numerous other series, reports and features characteristic of Pilote's early years.
The three compilations are complete.
Overall condition: good for their age.
Covers still very presentable with colors well preserved.
Some normal signs of use and storage.
Collection No. 4 notably shows visible wear at the ends of the spine, photographed in detail.
The bindings remain solid and the inner pages are well preserved.
Especially interesting as a set thanks to the presence of three consecutive issues No. 3, 4 and 5, difficult to assemble today.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and show precisely the condition of the works.
Very carefully protected shipment given the format and weight of the volumes.
