Description from the seller
Magnificent large dragon amulet - Celestial Imperial Dragon - Protective King.
Used as a protective talisman.
Fire, strength and supremacy.
In feng shui, the dragon is an influential and sacred symbol believed to create precious celestial Chi that brings strength, power and good fortune into our homes and workplaces.
The dragon represents longevity, perseverance and success but also fire, strength and supremacy. The dragon is the emblem of the emperors of China. They were themselves called “dragon” or regarded as the “son of the dragon.”
In Chinese culture, dragons embody benevolence and power. They are said to possess powers to control weather phenomena, such as invoking rain during a drought. In China, dragons are found everywhere—in legends, festivals, astrology, the arts, names and even expressions.
The dragon itself encompasses many symbols:
- immortality, through its exceptional longevity;
- perseverance and success: during the spawning season, the carp of the Yellow River swims upstream through rapid water to a fall called the “Dragon Gate.” If it succeeds in crossing it, it becomes a dragon. Its will to overcome the current is a symbol of perseverance.
- fire, strength, supremacy: in the martial art of the dragon.
