Icon - Virgin Mary - Wood - Capoletto in bas-relief - 26 x 57 cm

Vintage wooden wall bust with bas-relief depicting the face of the Virgin Mary. The material used for the Virgin (perhaps wood or wood pulp) is lighter in color than the wood used for the back panel. The latter is shaped with small columns carved along the sides. Presumably the piece dates from the 1950s–1970s.
