Description from the seller
The West Germany Pottery is a production trend in ceramics that developed between the 1950s and the late 1970s. These vases were mass-produced; each model is stamped with a number corresponding to a specific model. They are ceramics characterized by vivid colors, distinctive shapes, unusual decorations and, often, very particular finishes: some models indeed feature a glaze, a kind of glass glaze, which gives them material depth and porosity. Their particular design, shape, and the ochre yellow color embody boldness and creativity, adding a touch of originality and modernity to your apartment. Good overall condition with mild signs of use due to time, microscopic chipping at the base of the XL vase almost invisible to the naked eye but detectable only by enlarging one of the photos. The interesting feature of this lot, and what makes it unique, is that the vases come in a pair marked with the same factory reference number 260, while the other two numbers 40 and 52 refer to the different sizes of the vases.
