Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region.
My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a distinct expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work to this day.
I was especially shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. I learned to paint from him. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were crucial to my development. As his student, I could benefit from knowledge and a passion that still accompanies me today.
I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting.
Since 2015 I have dedicated myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the resulting textures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In this process, learned craft merges with intuition and a joy of experimentation.
My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for every person and reveal new facets over time.
With every canvas I develop my work further — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something unique.
The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for delivery. An authenticity certificate is included in the package.
