The Bible translated by Monsignor Antonio Martini: In the photos the spines are clearly recognizable, bound in half-leather/dark leather with gilded engravings reading "Martini - Old Testament" (or "New Testament") and the numbers of the individual volumes (e.g., volume 3 with Deuteronomy, volume 4, volume 9, volume 10 with Canticles, volume 12 with Jeremiah, volume 13 with the Prophets). This is the famous Italian translation of the Bible based on the original texts and the Vulgate by Antonio Martini (Archbishop of Florence), published from the late eighteenth century and reissued in numerous volumes throughout the nineteenth century.
Collection of Panegyrics: In the first photo you can see three volumes with hard leather bindings in antique parchment and labels on the spine reading "Raccolta di Panegirici" (volumes 9, 10 and 12). They are collections of prayers and sacred speeches in honor of saints, religious feasts, or illustrious figures, typical of sacred oratory between the 18th and 19th centuries.
Other devotional/liturgical works: Among the various bindings one can glimpse a tome titled "Scotti - Il mese di Maggio" (dedicated to Marian devotion) and a volume bearing "Ottavari".
