Description from the seller
Old Lampe Berger Paris porcelain from the Manufacture de Couleuvre, attributed to Albert Laurent's production, dating from the mid-20th century, probably the 1950s.
Its polychrome floral decoration, particularly bright, consists of pink roses and pink tulips, small yellow and blue flowers and green foliage. The whole is enhanced with numerous gilded highlights. The decoration is close to the model referenced “Roses Sèvres.”
The lamp retains its old metal mount marked “Lampe Berger” as well as its elegant pierced burner cover with a geometric decoration.
The underside of the porcelain bears the mark “Berger Paris” surmounted by a star, as well as the monogram associated with the Manufacture de Couleuvre / Albert Laurent.
Good overall condition for its age. The porcelain is intact and retains bright colors and its gilded highlights. The metal parts show patina, signs of oxidation, and wear to the gilding related to age and use. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
A beautiful collectible piece representative of the old French Lampe Berger productions associated with the Manufacture de Couleuvre.
