In Where Summer Dwells, Valdi turns a domestic interior into a space where light, color, and architecture seem to preserve the intensity of a season. The room opens before us as a lived-in place and, at the same time, imagined: a sanctuary where summer appears to have stayed to live.

The deep blues of the walls dialogue with the warm oranges of the bed and of the adjacent living area, while the floor unfolds like a large geometric weave of violets, reds, blues, and yellows. Vegetation crosses the boundaries of the architecture and brings an organic presence that softens the geometry of the space.

The absence of human figures reinforces the intimacy of the scene. Everything seems prepared to be inhabited, but no one appears.
