Description from the seller
Wonderful and original Reliquary of Saint Carlo Acutis
This is a very rare relic "Ex Lineto Recognitionis" of Saint Carlo Acutis, inserted inside a prayer card with a photograph of the Saint and a prayer of intercession on the back.
It is exactly a fragment of cloth or garment that belonged to the young Carlo Acutis and was used during the canonical examination of his relics before his Canonization in 2025.
Dimensions:
Photo with Relic: 80x50 millimeters
Saint Carlo Acutis (May 3, 1991 – October 12, 2006) was an Italian teenager, known for his deep spiritual faith and for using information technology as a tool for evangelization, so much so that he is often described as the "God’s influencer" or the "patron of the Internet".
Born in London to Italian parents and raised in Milan, he showed from a very young age a strong attachment to the Catholic faith, attending Mass daily and reciting the Rosary, guided by the belief that remaining united with Jesus was the true purpose of life.
Alongside prayer, Carlo was ever known for his great generosity toward the most needy and marginalized in the city. A lover of programming and new technologies, he put his IT skills at the service of the Gospel, creating websites and a famous virtual exhibit on Eucharistic miracles around the world, still translated and consulted globally.
In October 2006, at the age of 15, he was struck by fulminant leukemia, which he faced by offering his suffering for the Pope and for the Church, passing away on October 12 at the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza. Today his relics rest in Assisi, in the Shrine of the Relics, a place to which he was devoted for his veneration of Saint Francis.
Beatified on October 10, 2020 by Pope Francis and later canonized on September 7, 2025 by Pope Leo XIV, his liturgical memory is celebrated every year on October 12.
The accompanying photos, to which reference is made, clearly show the utmost care used to realize this precious relic, which is very rare to find.
