Candlestick (2) - Onyx, Brass, Gold plated - Luxury onyx classics

Stylish pair of vintage candlesticks, made of polished onyx/calcite-onyx and gold-colored brass. The natural stone shows beautiful green, cream and reddish-brown veining, giving both candlesticks a unique and lively character.
The richly shaped openwork feet, rounded drip bowls and warm gold-colored finish give the pair a distinctive Hollywood Regency and neoclassical look. The combination of natural stone and brass makes these candlesticks particularly decorative and elegant.
The candlesticks are attributed to G.S.E. and probably Italian production from circa 1960–1975. Because conclusive factory documentation is missing, both maker and origin are noted ascribed.

The candlesticks are in excellent vintage condition. No fractures or noteworthy damage observed. Only light signs of aging and use on the gold-colored brass, appropriate for age and use. The color differences and veining are natural properties of the onyx.
Due to their compact size, these candlesticks are ideal for a console, fireplace mantel, sideboard or classically set table. With ivory-colored candles they form a particularly handsome classical decorative ensemble.
