The Province of Utrecht and its synod assembly - Acta Et Decreta Secundae Synodi Provinciae Ultrajectensis - 1764

This volume records the proceedings and decrees of the second provincial synod of Utrecht, held in the chapel of St. Gertrude's parish church in Utrecht. It is a vital document for the ecclesiastical history of the Netherlands, documenting the resilience and autonomous organization of the Old Catholic / Jansenist Church of Utrecht as it preserved its structure independently of papal and Jesuit authority during the 18th century.
